Picturize case study

The goal of this project was to make a minimalistic user interface for a social network. From design to functionality, Picturize is redefining what a social network can and should be. But at the same time, it should keep a perfect well-known UX for users. Just like when making a sculpture, we removed all not important and left only essentials: photos, authors, date, time, and location.

As a cool feature of the app - you can see the post in a local time of that place, + you can see a photo on the map directed in the proper direction how the author pointed his phone during the photo shooting. Everything is done to encourage you to explore the world around.

Product vision:

"In a world over-run with filters, fakes, and bots, we appreciate the truth, transparency, and originals. We are building a community for real people. With no algorithms dictating what you see. No filters. Less anxiety. Enjoy the real world in real time."

Client's Feedback

Gerhard Althaus

Founder of Picturize

“They made a professional impression from the beginning, so I decided to work with them. First I described the idea of the app. We had then a Kick-Off call with the CEO. As a next step, they provided the ideas of the UX design of the app. Upon approval, the started to develop the app. During the process, more and more functions were added. After beta testing, the app was released in the AppStore in January 2022.

Very easy communication, very responsive (even late in the evening or on weekends), all requests were implemented instantly. The quality and the overall app development from as an MVP design to a full development was amazing.”
